Accounting Officer

The Accounting Officer will assist the Finance Manager with month-end and year-end closing activities, tax return filing and compliance, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Ability to work independently and deliver expected results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs the month-end and year-end closing processes. Oversee the timely and proper closing of financial books at the end of each reporting period. Maintain a copy of all relevant accounting documents for audit and tax purposes.
• Monitors cash flow, reviews financial transactions, and ensures the completeness and accuracy of all accounting records on a timely basis.
• Ensures timely preparation and filing of all tax returns, ensuring compliance with all local tax requirements.
• Maintains documentation for Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) audits, ensures all documents are always audit ready.
