Job Description

Main Duties

Process payments to suppliers according to invoice or contract terms

Liaise with suppliers and internal departments in respect of the progress and contracts

Handling staff’s disbursement claims and preparing payment vouchers

Ensure proper approval has been made for all payments according to internal control policy

Recording payment records in SUNsystem (Accounting software) and ensuring all relevant correspondences are properly filed

Follow up with suppliers on outstanding payments and resolve any payment discrepancies

Assist in month-end closing and other accounting tasks as required, such as stock-take, monthly accruals, and prepayment breakdowns

 Process critical payments within the required timeline
