Key Responsibilities
· Process and review payroll accurately and on schedule (weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly).
· Maintain payroll records including salaries, overtime, allowances, deductions, and benefits.
· Ensure compliance with tax regulations, labor laws, and statutory contribution requirements.
· Prepare and file payroll-related taxes and government-mandated reports.
· Reconcile payroll accounts and investigate discrepancies.
· Prepare payroll journal entries and assist in month-end and year-end closing.
· Coordinate with HR regarding employee data changes (new hires, resignations, adjustments).
· Generate payroll summaries and management reports as required.
· Support internal and external audits related to payroll.
· Maintain strict confidentiality of employee compensation data.
