The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following activities:

  • Overall responsibility for the General Ledger for 2 entities within the perimeter, including accurate and timely month-end closing
  • Oversight of activities of one direct report located in Austria as well as activities performed by Global Business Services centres for the perimeter
  • Liaising with external consultants to ensure timely completion of all pensions, tax and other statutory monthly, quarterly and annual reporting
  • Review and / or completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations and VAT reporting
  • Review and / or preparation of SOX controls for various cycles under ST internal SOX control framework
  • Supporting the production of annual legal entity statutory accounts and acting as the main point of contact for internal and external audit visits
