Job Summary:
The Accounting Specialist is responsible for handling daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations. The role includes computing and processing taxes for both the company and its employees in accordance with government requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and record accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger transactions
• Prepare payment vouchers, billing statements, and official receipts
• Compute, prepare, and file company taxes (e.g., income tax, withholding tax, VAT/percentage tax, expanded withholding tax)
• Compute employee-related taxes and statutory deductions, including withholding tax on compensation
• Prepare and remit government-mandated contributions and reports (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG)
