Job Description

Role: Accounting Specialist

Location: Commerce City, CO (in-office)

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 / year, based on experience

Benefits: This role is eligible for health, dental, vision and 401K.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist with nonprofit or education industry experience to support the full scope of accounting operations, administrative functions, and compliance requirements within a dynamic organization.
Responsibilities:
Manage all business accounting systems and software, including ongoing maintenance and documentation
Process full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, review vendor invoices for accuracy, and generate payments
Receive and deposit incoming payments in a timely manner
Maintain records for grant-awarded funds and prepare financial reports for grant proposals and special funding requests
