Accounting Specialist

Description We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to join a cultural organization in Dayton, Ohio on a contract basis with the potential for a permanent role. This position supports day-to-day finance operations by helping maintain accurate records, process transactions, and keep accounting activities running smoothly across the business office. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in accounting functions and is comfortable working across payables, receivables, reconciliations, and cash management while partnering with finance leadership on reporting and special projects.

Responsibilities:
• Review daily financial activity from various departments and prepare accurate journal entries related to deposits and revenue recognition.
