Job Description
Work with Capital Power as an Accounting Specialist focusing on Environmental Commodities in Calgary, Alberta. In this hybrid role, you will ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance under IFRS standards.
As an Environmental Accounting expert, you will draw on 2-5 years of experience in accounting within energy or commodity trading sectors. Preferred candidates will have a CPA designation or be actively pursuing one, with strong IFRS knowledge and advanced Excel skills. Your ability to enhance accounting processes will contribute significantly to accurate financial reporting for the company.

• Record and validate all environmental-related financial transactions
• Review and reconcile margin and inventory accounts
