Job Description
The Accountant will oversee day-to-day bookkeeping, financial reporting, tax preparation support, and operational accounting functions. This role requires strong knowledge of US tax regulations, experience using QuickBooks, and familiarity with Jobber or other service-based CRM systems. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and able to manage accounting workflows with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
● Maintain bookkeeping and financial records in QuickBooks
● Reconcile accounts, manage AP/AR, and oversee billing/collections
● Integrate and reconcile Jobber data with QuickBooks ● Handle job costing, expense tracking, and profitability reports
● Prepare monthly/annual financial statements and cash flow reports
● Support federal/state tax filings and ensure compliance
● Improve accounting processes and internal controls
