**Job Description**

**Key Responsibilities**

+ Lead and supervise day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and General Ledger functions.
+ Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff to support career growth, team performance, and succession planning.
+ Manage and complete the monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
+ Perform and review balance sheet account reconciliations and variance analysis to ensure the integrity of data.
+ Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and US GAAP across all transactions and reporting activities.
+ Coordinate the revenue recognition process in accordance with accounting standards and Thermo Fisher Accounting Policy.
