Accounting Supervisor

The Accounting Supervisor will be responsible tax calculations and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The role will also assist in monthly financial statement closing activities in relation to tax transactions.

Major Responsibilities and Duties

1. Prepares tax calculations and analyses for monthly, quarterly and annual filing and payments of all applicable taxes of the company (e.g. expanded withholding tax, withholding tax on compensation, VAT and corporate income tax)
2. Ensures completeness of files/documents subject for reporting to BIR and ensures it reflects the accurate performance of the company
3. Liaise with BIR and government offices and assure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
4. Lead the coordination with and provide the requirements of tax auditors and/or consultants for ongoing tax audit or other tax related work
5. Assist with tax compliance deadlines, extensions and audits
