Accounting Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the daily work of accounting staff (e.g., accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger)
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Monitor compliance with GAAP, company policies, and internal controls
• Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices
• Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to accounting team members
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2–3 years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory or lead experience
