General Accounting

• Oversee day-to-day accounting functions to ensure that transactions on petty cash, revolving fund accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchase orders, etc. are validated and represent legitimate company transactions.
• Ensure that adequate internal controls are in place to safeguard the company's assets and that financial advantage is always obtained by the company.
• Ensure that the computerized accounting system is working to fully provide timely and accurate accounting data.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
• Ensure that accounts supporting schedules are reconciled and fully substantiated
• Make recommendations to resolve any disputes that may arise from issues from both accounts payable and receivables.
