STAFF ACCOUNTING SUPPORT SPECIALIST
POSITION SUMMARY
The Staff Accounting Support Specialist combines senior-level accounting execution with Tier 1 technical and application support.
This role focuses on core accounting operations, monthly close, reconciliations, and GAAP compliance while also supporting accounting systems, ERP tools, and user-reported issues.
The position partners closely with Accounting, Finance, and Support teams and serves as a functional accounting expert with strong system and data proficiency.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare and review monthly, quarter-end, and year-end journal entries.
Own balance sheet account reconciliations and resolve reconciling items on a timely basis.
Analyze balance sheet and P&L variances and provide clear explanations and corrective actions.
Support monthly close activities and ensure adherence to close calendars and accuracy standards.
