Accounting Technician (accounts payables)

Position Overview Reports to the Manager of Finance, the Accounting Technician is responsible for the accurate, timely, and confidential processing of accounts payable transactions for HGH. The role supports day-to-day financial operations by reviewing invoices, matching supporting documentation, maintaining vendor records, resolving discrepancies, and preparing payments in accordance with hospital policies, internal controls, and applicable regulatory requirements.

The incumbent contributes to efficient financial operations, audit readiness, and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

Process a high volume of vendor invoices, cheque requisitions, expense reimbursements, and other approved payment requests accurately and within established timelines and service level targets.
