The Accounting Technician plays a vital role as an effective internal and external customer service provider, skilled in a broad range of functions including clerical, administrative, and accounting tasks, along with tracking and reporting duties.

What you’ll be doing:

Processing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoices. Issuing cheques to vendors and handling lien payouts.

Posting daily deposits. Performing general accounting tasks, including posting general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and month‑end activities.

Posting company Visa transactions, monitoring credit limits to maintain a healthy balance, and performing weekly reconciliations.

Monthly reconciliation of vendor statements and execution of the monthly accounts payable cheque run.
