Our client, a family-founded civil construction and plant hire company, proudly based in Toowoomba, is looking for an Accounts and Payroll Officer to join their team.
About the role:
In this role, your responsibilities will be:
- Doing end-to-end payroll processing to ensure accurate and timely payment of employees;
- Performing accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, payment allocation and follow-up of outstanding accounts;
- Completing regular bank reconciliations;
- Assisting with the preparation and lodgement of BAS;
- Providing general administrative support to assist with day-to-day financial operations;
- Working closely with the company accountant to support overall financial management;
- Liaising with project managers and team leaders across the business to ensure smooth and efficient financial processes; and
