Accounts Controller

Introduction

Our Building Supplies Manufacturer client is seeking an Accounts Controller to join their team based in Avoca, Durban.

Salary: Market Related – Provident Fund, Medical Aid (Based on qualifications experience, and skills)

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) with a BCom degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2-3 years finance experience in an online computerised environment (preferably manufacturing) with JDE exposure.

Key Responsibilities

• Bank reconciliations - Daily monitoring, matching and querying of all bank movements for 12 Centre accounts as well as other bank accounts.
• Petty cash and credit card reconciliations to monthly statements to ensure withdrawals and charges are matched, as well as raising queries where discrepancies are identified.
• Lease agreements - manage lease agreements which includes reconciliation of monthly statements and ensuring payment...
