Accounts Payable Officer | Civil Construction

Job Description

Our Client is a leading national, tier 2 civil construction company specialising in rail, bulk earthworks and major subdivisions. They are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their team. 

The Role: 

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be assisting the team with all Accounts Payable functions.

Monitor accounts email inbox daily and distribute emails for actioning as appropriate

Accurately enter and process invoices on a daily basis and in a timely manner

Identify errors or discrepancies with invoices before processing

Coordinate resolution of invoice queries, errors or discrepancies with internal personnel

Ensure all supplier statements are reconciled by the 15th day of each month

Distribute received mail to personnel

Some front-of-house reception and general administrative duties
