Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join a team in Providence, Rhode Island in a Contract to Permanent capacity. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting specialist who can manage high-volume invoice processing, maintain accurate payment records, and support efficient disbursement activities. The role requires strong accuracy, sound judgment with coding and approvals, and the ability to keep accounts payable operations organized and on schedule.

Responsibilities:
• Review and process vendor invoices with careful attention to accuracy, appropriate approvals, and correct general ledger coding.
• Assign account codes to invoices and payment transactions to ensure expenses are recorded properly and consistently.
