Accounts Payable Supervisor

Main Purpose of the Job

As a Supervisor for the Accounts Payable (AP) team, you will ensure effective operations of the team, take a hands‑on approach as required, and lead all areas of AP day‑to‑day process while driving change across the end‑to‑end process. You will motivate and standardise processes, implement procedures to improve efficiency, and interact professionally with team members and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Take initiative to ensure smooth process flow without gaps.
• Ensure all entries (invoices, credit notes, cost of sales and other payable‑related entries) are posted within stipulated timelines.
• Prepare weekly forecasts for proposed payments.
• Prepare, review, and approve the final paylist considering available funds for the week.
• Initiate or approve payments in the bank for different entities.
• Ensure processes comply with global policies and procedures.
