Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist

Position Summary

The Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist is responsible for monitoring incoming payments from referral sources and payors, ensuring adherence to agreed payment plans, and maintaining timely collections. This role actively manages relationships with payment sources, resolves billing discrepancies, and supports financial accuracy and cash flow through consistent follow‑up, reconciliation, and communication.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitor and track payments from referral sources and third‑party payors.
• Ensure compliance with established payment plans and timely remittance.
• Conduct recurring meetings and follow‑ups with referral and payment sources to maintain accurate account status and resolve concerns.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve billing discrepancies, underpayments, and payment delays.
• Communicate with internal billing and operations teams to address account issues.
