Location: Community Health building, Kenepuru hospital site, 16 Hospital Road Porirua. Contract: Permanent, Part-time (0.4FTE) rostered and rotating.

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced nurse to step into a leadership role as Associate Charge Nurse Manager (ACNM) in the Kenepuru Community Health team. This is a job share role with the existing ACNM to provide cover across the weekdays and, with the ACNMs across the service, to provide seven‑day a week coverage.

As ACNM, you will play a key role in supporting acute flow and facilitating safe, timely discharges from hospital to home.

• Support Early Supported Discharge (ESD) service.
• Oversee rostering, recruitment and health & safety.
• Assist with performance reviews and professional development.
• Contribute to service improvement and strategic planning.
