Actuarial Manager – Valuation Control

Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role:

The jobholder will be responsible for leading actuarial valuation controls framework, ensuring accuracy and consistency of all liability measurements under local reporting standards. The role also oversees Value of New Business (VNB), Embedded Value (EV) and Experience Monitoring processes to support sound financial reporting.

Valuation Controls and Governance

• Maintain and enhance the actuarial control framework, including assumption governance, reserve workflows and model change management.
• Oversee model documentation, validation and compliance with internal model governance standards.

Value of New Business and Embedded Value

• Lead the production, review and reporting of VNB and EV results on quarterly and annual basis.
