Actuary

Purpose:

Athene Canada plays an integral role in supporting Athene’s global insurance and reinsurance business. This actuarial valuation position focuses on Economic Balance Sheet (EBS) reporting and analysis, with direct interaction across teams in Canada, Bermuda, and the United States.

Reporting to the Director of EBS Valuation, the role offers the opportunity to contribute to complex, high-impact work while collaborating with experienced actuarial leaders and key stakeholders across the organization.

Accountabilities:

Produce and review quarterly Bermuda Economic Balance Sheet (EBS) Results

Develop and maintain asset and liability models

Provide support to new business transactions

Work closely with asset managers and risk department to review asset assumptions.

Review and investigate modeling results, working closely with the modeling teams

Communicate results to senior management and investors
