Acute General Medicine Physician - Whakatane

* Permanent position * Full time positionWe are looking to employ a General Physician to join our Department of Medicine, currently providing General Internal Medicine inpatient and outpatient services, plus a range of sub-specialty services to a population of approximately 260,000.
This position is based at Whakatane Hospital, a 60+ bed Level 2 hospital. This is predominantly an inpatient role but will include some elective work.
Whakatane Hospital runs an Acute General Medical inpatient service with district wide support from sub-specialists in Cardiology, Respiratory, Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, Rheumatology, Infectious Diseases, Geriatrics, Oncology, Haematology, Palliative care, Neurology and Renal services. General Physicians are well supported to provide comprehensive care.
