Addiction Therapist (Licensed Master's)

Summary The Addiction Therapist (LMAT) provides in-person psychotherapy for RRTP Veterans with substance use and addiction issues. This is an open, continuous announcement. which closes on 06/22/2026, or when the position is filled. Applications will be reviewed on multiple cut-off dates and referred to the selecting official as appropriate. Responsibilities The Addiction Therapist is expected to be knowledgeable about evidence-based treatments for substance abuse, as well as effective treatment planning. Services include group and individual therapy using evidence-based approaches such as harm reduction, motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, and CBT modalities. Assigned Duties: The RRTP Substance Use Disorder (SUD) specialist is to coordinate treatment planning and delivery of services that best meet the needs of patients diagnosed with SUD.
