Job Summary:
A Master’s degree holder in Library and/or Information Science is needed to teach one or more 3-credit section(s) of INTEC1111: Technological and Information Literacy in fall 2024. The goal of this course is to assist students in acquiring confidence and proficiency in the technological and information literacy concepts of seeking, evaluating, managing, and using the wealth of information currently available in print, media, and online with digital tools. This course is designed to fulfill the General Education requirements for technology and information literacy. The candidate must have experience with information literacy, technological literacy, and various technology tools including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite and library databases. The candidate is expected to impart hands-on knowledge to students in a computer lab classroom setting, following the profession’s standards and best practices.
