Ohio University Regional Campuses are seeking a part-time instructor to teach a variety of in-person Physics, Physical Sciences and Astronomy courses at the undergraduate level at the Lancaster campus.
Specific course needs are:

ASTR 1000: Survey of Astronomy

General introduction to astronomy, with emphasis on the structure of the universe beyond our solar system. Topics include historical astronomy, the sun, stars, galaxies, interstellar matter, black holes, the “Big Bang” theory, and the evolution of the universe. No pre-req, but familiarity with basic algebra and geometry is beneficial.


PSC 1010: The Physical World

Designed for nonscience majors. An exploration of fundamental ideas of the physical world, including fundamental ideas of measurement, motion, energy, electricity and magnetism, and other topics.
