Job Summary

:The Adult Education Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of adult learners within a mature student and regular high school program using a virtual high school platform in partnership with Assiniboine Community College.The ALC Teacher will provide instruction in literacy, high school preparation, and Manitoba high school programming from S1 to S4.Teaching Schedule:The teaching schedule for this full-time (1 FTE) position is from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement lesson plans that accommodate the learning styles and levels of adult students.Provide instructional support in reading, literature, writing, math, computer literacy, and other online high school subjects.Assess student progress, set individual learning goals, and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.Create a welcoming, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment.Us...
