**GENERAL SUMMARY AND PURPOSE:**

Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, assists in the provision of pharmaceutical compounded products to various customers by complying with Federal, State, and U.S. Pharmacopeia requirements. This role is preserved for pharmacy technicians whose primary function is to perform sterile compounding. Practices within the scope of state and federal regulations.

**SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:**

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a pharmacy technician required. Minimum of 2 (2) years of sterile compounding experience required. Licensed as a Certified Pharmacy Technician with the Idaho State Board of Pharmacy.
