Job Description
As a Advanced Areothermal Engineer at Honeywell, in Yeovil, you will be responsible for design, developing and analysing aircraft control subsystems . This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model.
We are looking for an Advanced Systems Engineer with a mechanical design background in CAD (NX preferred but not essential) and demonstrated experience in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) for aerodynamics (StarCCM or Fluent preferred). The ideal candidate will also have knowledge and experience in technology development maturation through TRL levels and be familiar with test standards such as RTCA DO-160G. You will join our cross-functional, multidisciplinary team to work on technology development, from initial concepts up to prototypes and flight demonstrators – progressing technologies of the future through the TRLs.
