Advanced Practice Respiratory Therapist Ped-Neo Transport - Repost

Position Overview

Provides current and competent clinical care while treating patients in multiple venues; including but not limited to medical facilities in Manitoba, ground ambulance, ground patient support vehicle, air ambulance.

Functions in harsh and unusual environmental conditions, including extreme weather and unconventional modes of transportation ensure personal and patient safety at all times.

Responsible for the provision of basic and advanced level patient care to adult, pediatric and neonatal/obstetric patients during interfacility transport, including provincial, regional and multi-sites.

Responsible for full patient care of patients requiring accompaniment during diagnostic procedures, therapeutic interventions and/or other appointments.

May assume responsibility for and provide care to single or multiple patients during interfacility transport, in accordance with Patient Transport Program protocols.
