Advisor (Licensing & Authorisations)An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Specialist Supervision, Licensing & Authorisations team as an Advisor.The Licensing & Authorisations Team was created during 2023 in response to the Reserve Bank's need to develop a new licensing framework under the Deposit Takers Act and to modernise the Bank's approach to licensing and other significant 'authorisations,' such as changes of control of licensed banks, non-bank deposit takers and insurers. The key responsibilities of the team are:
* Developing the licensing framework for the Deposit Takers Act for existing banks and NBDTs and for new firms wanting to become deposit-takers under the DTA.
* Managing responses to licensing enquiries from banks, NBDTs and insurers.
