Overview

Innergex Renewable Energy Inc. is an independent renewable energy producer with assets in Canada, the United States, France and Chile. The tax team supports the corporate tax function and related reporting to contribute to Innergex’s mission and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the tax provision process for Innergex Group entities and assist with the preparation of tax notes to the financial statements.

Canadian tax compliance

• Participate in the entire process of preparing federal and provincial Canadian tax returns for entities, ensuring that statutory deadlines are met and tax elections are filed on time, and researching, analyzing, and reviewing tax positions.
• Conduct certain tax research and document the tax positions taken (corporate income tax, property taxes, transfer taxes, etc.).
