Agronomist

Duties & Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be a well-experienced, hands-on, motivated individual and will be in possession of the following qualifications: Requirements:
• Aminimum tertiary qualification, e.g. B.Sc. Hons. degree in agronomy or entomology, plant sciences or agricultural related field is essential;
• Aminimum of5yearsworkexperience in agriculture, preferably with research and development;
• Mustbefamiliar with plant physiology research, microbiology and scientific methodology;
• Mustbeinnovative, entrepreneurial and enjoy working in a team;
• Possessexcellent presentation skills;
• Soundknowledge ofcitrus and subtropical fruit trees; knowledge of sugarcane an added advantage;
• Ability to plan and self-manage with highly developed time management skills;
• Computerrelated skills- MS Office, Outlook etc.;
