<p><strong>What is an Air Traffic Control Cadetships?</strong></p> <p>Irish Air Corps flying operations are supported by Military Air Traffic Services (ATS). An Air Traffic Controller issues clearances in real time, in a high tempo environment, whilst ensuring a safe and expeditious flow of air traffic is maintained. Military Air Traffic Services (ATS) are responsible for the dynamic management and coordination of access to military airspace for all training and operations. ATS provides a critical capability for major on-island security events including the development and enforcement of airspace restrictions throughout the state. ATS staff also fulfil many other roles and functions within the Air Corps including, ATC training, safety management, aerodrome management, airspace management, flight procedure design and the planning and control of aviation events.</p> <...
