Responsibilities The primary purpose of this position is: To provide air traffic control (ATC) services to military and civilian aircraft operating in a radar environment using instrument flight rules (IFR) and visual flight rules (VFR) providing for the safe, orderly, and expeditious flow of air traffic. To provide non-radar approach control services in allocated airspace, in the event of radar outages.
