Aircraft Electrician

Overview

Executes responsibilities as an aircraft Electrician, undertaking unit-level maintenance on aircraft electrical, navigational, and avionics components. Conducts maintenance on the aircraft's electrical components following specific directives outlined in the aircraft Operators Manual, Maintenance Test Flight Manual, aircraft Check List Manual, and any customer or specific directives. Identifies and rectifies malfunctions in aircraft systems and components, including solid-state and transistorized devices, in accordance with the relevant technical manuals, directives, and safety procedures. Utilizes common measuring tools, precision measuring tools, and alignment fixtures for the specified tasks. Conducts operational checks on aircraft electrical systems and tests, troubleshoots, and repairs aircraft electrical systems test sets and diagnostic equipment.
