The SPSA is hiring for multiple Permanent Full-Time position of Aircraft Maintenance Engineer I, in the Air Operations branch, located in La Ronge, SK.
Under the direction of senior engineers, you will be performing periodic inspections on airframes, engines and systems on a fleet of 17 firefighting aircraft including CL-215T's, CV 580A's, Twin Commanders and DHC Dash8-400 Series. You will be responsible for assessing deficiencies in airframe, engine, electrical, hydraulic and instrumentation/avionics systems; and repairing or replacing deficient components in accordance with Transport Canada approval standards.
