This a Temporary WG-8810-10 AIRCRAFT PROPELLER MECHANIC (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D2773000 and is part of the MO TASMG Shop. SEE NOTES UNDER CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT BELOW. Responsibilities Tests and troubleshoots aircraft rotor and/or propeller systems using special tools and test equipment. Diagnoses any malfunctions of rotor/propeller systems and makes necessary repairs. Repairs and refinishes blades/propellers using a variety of metal working tools and precision measuring instruments. Performs troubleshooting of the powertrain systems using special tools and test equipment, diagnoses any system malfunctions and makes necessary repairs. Guides lower-level mechanics in performance of tasks. Conducts on-the- job training on assigned systems and related support equipment and tasks to include classroom instruction as necessary.
