Key Responsibilities

AIX Platform Engineering (Core Banking Focus)

• Act as 
  AIX Subject Matter Expert (SME)
   for 
  mission-critical banking systems
• Administer and engineer 
  IBM AIX on Power Systems (Power8/9/10)
• Perform 
  AIX OS installation, upgrades, TL/SP patching
  , and migrations
• Manage 
  PowerVM / PowerHA environments
  :
• LPAR provisioning
• DLPAR operations
• Shared Processor Pools
• HACMP / PowerHA cluster support
• Administer 
  AIX LVM
  , paging space, filesystems, and I/O optimization
• Perform 
  advanced troubleshooting
  :
• Performance degradation impacting transactions
• System hangs, kernel issues
• Filesystem and storage corruption
• Ensure 
  high availability and zero-data-loss design
   for core systems
