Job Description

 Job responsibilities: Provide IBM AIX Operating System Support.
 Install & Upgrade AIX and related software, AIX software configurations, install and maintenance PTF/APAR management.
 Plan, Prepare & Execute complex Data migrations of same & different versions.
 Implement of TCPIP application, protocols and services, Virtual IPs/Virtual Ethernets.
 Backup and Recovery management.
 Trouble shooting AIX Operating system problems, Database, Files systems, Security, Network and other software problems.
 AIX Security Management.
  Job requirements: 
 Strong problem and change Management process knowledge
 Hands-on experience with VIOS/PowerVM, PowerHA and Power SC
 Linux operation systems knowledge is required
 Experience with IBM storage systems – IBM DS8K, IBM Storwise will be a plus
 Experience with other IBM Middleware and Analytics products will be a plus
