This is a full performance level of work, certified by the
Maryland Board of Professional Counselors
and Therapists at the Associate degree level. The CSC provides a
full range of counseling for
substance use clients, with the least complex problems as
defined by standard treatment criteria,
under general supervision from a clinical supervisor, approved
by the Maryland Board of
Professional Counselors and Therapists. Performs other related
