We have an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse to join the Alcohol Care Team (ACT) at the Oxford University Hospitals Foundation Trust. This post has been created to assist with the continuation of the pilot project within the Emergency Department (ED). We are looking for an enthusiastic nurse/practitioner with a passion for working with patients with alcohol related conditions. This is a fixed term post/secondment opportunity until the st of March with the hope that further funding will be secured for continued support in the ED. 

The ACT currently operates a day service from am to pm covering all sites (John Radcliffe, Churchill, NOC and the Horton).Our team has been developed to improve the treatment of alcohol withdrawal, reduce alcohol related presentations and facilitate referrals to community alcohol services.
