Algo Java Developer

Our Client is looking for a senior software engineer in the APAC Equities Electronic Trading team. The person in this role will be responsible for the design, development and delivery of next gen low latency execution platform in APAC. The senior engineer will collaborate with a team of developers and work with the product development team, other technology team, production support, and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and support of the high-performance electronic execution platform
• Build common solutions for trading platform monitoring, trade reconciliation, application recovery etc.
• Partner with traders, quant researchers and clients on product development
• Continuous maintenance & improvements of the testing frameworks, development tools and environments.
• Ability to envision, design and implement test cases for trading functions.
