Both inpatient and day patient programs are based on an interdisciplinary team approach where all team members play an integral role. The major casemix groups are orthopaedic, neurological, cardiac, and reconditioning, as well as palliative care and general medical.

Role overview

Allied Health assistants (AHAs) are integral to the Allied Health team and provide clinical and administrative assistance and support to the Allied Health Professionals - to ensure the delivery of a high quality rehabilitation service. AHAs work under the direction and supervision of physiotherapists, occupational therapists and others to help clients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
