AltaGas has an immediate opening for a Lead to oversee the Accounts Payable team of 16. This role is perfect for someone who has a passion for continuous improvement by enhancing overall efficiency, effectiveness and collaboration as we continue to modernize our finance operations.

You Will:
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Accounts Payable Analysts
• Conduct performance reviews and ongoing coaching for four (4) direct reports
• Foster an environment of continuous improvement
• Coordinate team meetings, communications, and engagement activities
• Oversee daily Accounts Payable activities, ensuring timely processing and issue resolution
• Provide support and backup to team’s processes as needed
• Monitor invoice workflow, aging, and exception queues
• Review and approve new vendors, wire templates, and intercompany transfers
