The Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager Sourcing is responsible for leading procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and services required for manufacturing operations. The role demands strong negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills to optimize procurement performance and support business goals.
What you ll do:
Strategic Procurement & Sourcing
* Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with production and business needs. Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and compliance. Monitor market trends and adjust sourcing strategies accordingly.
Vendor Management Build and maintain strong supplier relationships. Negotiate contracts and service-level agreements to ensure favourable terms. Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and audits.
