Amazon Returns Optimization Analyst

Role Purpose

You own end-to-end visibility, analysis, and optimization of all return-related Profit & Loss line items. This role is accountable for producing an in-depth reporting pack and driving measurable improvement in return-related KPIs at the SKU and product-group level.

Your work will directly shape decisions across R&D, Procurement & Logistics, Warehouse, Marketing, and Customer Support to reduce return losses, improve recovery, and protect margin.

Key Outcomes

You own reporting, insights, and optimization across return-related lines, including:

• Returns volume, rate, and root-cause insights
• Returns shipping and handling costs
• Refund and replacement costs
• Net recovery rate/value through restock/resell/refurbish/liquidation
• A measurable reduction in returns and refund rates on prioritized products
